Whats New? - August 2024

Rounding out the end of the summer, this month we're back to showcase a few quick improvements to Report Toaster :)

Let's take a look!

Quality of Life Features

First, we have a few new quality of life features that we have added to the app to improve the overall user experience (UX).

"One of" for standard text field filters

In addition to equals to or contains, this gives you more options when looking to filter by multiple results. This is a big improvement over having to join up multiple filters using "Or":

'+' and 'x' button to add/remove columns

In addition to drag and drop, this should speed things up when looking to add (green) or remove (red) large numbers of columns.

Prior Period for Comparison Ranges

An absolute life-saver for comparison ranges, this lets you add Prior Period and Same Period Last Year as options for comparison.

E.g. let's say I went to Last 30 Days Sales Summary - this would let me compare to either the prior 30 day period, or the same 30 day period in the previous year.

Orders Fulfilled By

Thanks to our being able to access the Fulfillment Events, we can now include who fulfilled an order on an Orders report via a custom Calculated Field.

This report relies upon a bit of custom code and us recalculating any historical orders to track, so if you'd like us to add it to your account, please email us and let us know.

CC Wallet

A new addition to the existing Credit Card Transactions report, we've now added the ability to see what mobile wallet was used on a transaction (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc), if applicable.

This field is included by default on the Credit Card Transactions report, but you can also add it to any of our other Transaction reports as needed.
